The time had come to plan my three year old's birthday party. Sounds easy...pick an indestructible location where 15-20 three year old children can safely play and have fun while allowing the adults to somewhat relax and laugh at the party host's attempt to maintain the kid's FIVE minute attention spans. I researched the internet for party locations and selected what I thought was a unique location, perfect theme and convenient date! Then, just before the invitations were prepared I learned that several other party guests were having their birthday celebration at the same location! Bummer, back to square one. With time running out, I decided to host the party at my home. Not indestructible but safe and toys were available at no extra cost.

I turned to the internet for creative party ideas, themes and entertainment. Yes, I found a tremendous amount of information! However, I had difficulty finding businesses in the Knoxville area to provide the services and products I was seeking. Through continued networking with friends, I connected with local businesses and entrepreneurs in the party service industry for catering, cake and cupcake station, face painting, party hostess, life guard/swim instructor, and custom DVD movie of the party photographs which were given as a Thank you memento and party favor! My child's party was a BIG success! Every child and adult had a wonderful time including me!
